Ted Strickland has served Ohio as a member of Congress faithfully since 1992. He has been a member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs and is the ranking Democrat on its Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. A six term Congressman, Methodist Minister, a psychologist, and a college professor, Ted Strickland has all the credentials to lead Ohio back into the luster it has lost due to 25 years of Governor inactivity.

How Mr. Strickland helped me
Ted Strickland's message to Ohio
Dear Friend,
I am honered to be running for Governor of Ohio.
Our great state is in desperate need of change, and I believe I have the Leadership, the Vision, and the Drive to lead Ohio to a new day.
There is no state in the nation like Ohio. But like many Ohioans, I see a state that has lost its way. The current Republican administration has failed to lead us, putting at risk the future of our state and the safety and strength of our families.
I won’t stand by and let that happen.
I will enter this office ready to pour my heart and soul into fighting for the dignity of families and all people in Ohio. I will dedicate myself to restoring the spirit, the hope and the optimism of our great and beautiful state.
In the months ahead, I look forward to laying out my vision for Ohio’s future. It is a vision which will bring Ohioans together to help rebuild our state, strengthen our communities, and lead our nation once again.
Sincerely,
Ted Strickland
